Dear teachers, “I did 20 lengths of the pool today. I haven't swum that far since I was at school.” Please tell me if “that” is a pronoun? Does it replace the whole sentence “I did 20 lengths of the pool”? What about “far since”? Does it mean “far into the time when …” Thank you.

that far = so far/remotely, at such a distance, to such a remote place
