'Get on horse?' Maybe the expression is 'get on a horse,' or 'get on the horse.' Since 'horse' is a singular count noun, it needs an article in front of it.

But, I don't know this expression. Maybe someone else does. Did you see this written, Welkins, or did you hear it or something like it?
