Which is correct please? to use the number before (other) or after it?
- ... and wounded thirteen other soldiers.
-.... and wounded other thirteen soldiers.
- ... and wounded the other two soldiers.
- ... and wounded the two other soldiers.

Wow! What a good question, Tonyjab! I don't believe I've ever thought about this.

If there is no article, the number comes before other just as you show it in the top example above (thirteen other soldiers).

If the definite article is used, I think both positions are acceptable. In other words, I don't have a problem with either the other two soldiers or the two other soldiers.
