Wow! That's an amazing site, Izzy! It's wonderful how many ways there are these days for people to learn another language.

This is a British site, but I'm glad they also account for American pronunciation when necessary.

In certain dialects of BrE, the words do you and did you in a question are slurred together and come out sounding like [j]. So the name of the site, howjsay is really the question "How do you say...?" which is what you'd ask if you want to know how a word or phrase is pronounced.
