Hi, Dude—"Inside" is an intransitive preposition there, a preposition without an object. Like transitive prepositions, intransitive prepositions head prepositional phrases. Relative "where" has the syntactic status of a prepositional phrase.

Thanks. Is an intransitive preposition the same as  "in" as in "come in"?
