Hi, Tony—I agree with Ahmed that your example is grammatically correct. (The proximity principle, utilized in compound logical subjects in sentences with There-Insertion, allows for the agreement to be solely with "information.")

Please note, however, that your interpretation of "documents" as singular is incorrect. "Document" is the singular. Also note that it would be much more natural to phrase your sentence as follows:

  • I have a lot of information and documents to go through.
