Reply to "Omission of to-infinitive after a coordinator"

Originally  in the bolded part "to" was omitted. What I'm wondering about is whether it's possible to insert "to" there like the example above?



Hi, KDog—Yes, it is possible to insert "to" there; however, it will create a problem in parallelism (to X, Y, and to Z) unless you adjust the earlier part of the sentence. Each of the following brings about parallelism in its own way:

want you [to X, to Y, and to Z]
I want you to go home, to look at your lives, and to ask yourself . . . .

want you [to [X and Y]] and [to Z]]
I want you to go home and look at your lives, and to ask yourself . . . .
