I assume you meant to type "will leave" rather than "will leaves." In either case, that answer does not work. Nor does "leaves" ("We need to go. Our plane leaves.") The other two answers are correct.  Also correct is "is about to leave":

  • We need to go. Our plane is about to leave.
  • We need to go. Our plane is going to leave.
  • We need to go. Our plane is leaving.

Sorry, I have updated the post. In addition, I have added, Soon. Does this change the matter? This what the outside book has written. Again, Sorry for the misprint.
