Reply to "Will / Going to?"

Hi, Lou, and welcome to the Grammar Exchange,

Hi,

I'm a bit confused about using "will" and "going to" to make predictions. So I'd like to know what should we use in these sentences:

-The ending of this series is somber. You will / are going to be traumatized.

Both are correct, however, 'will' works better here because there is no present reality. It is a kind of exaggeration.

-Look out! You will / are going to fall!

'Are going to' is the logical answer here. It is something that is about to happen, not something in the remote future.

-This story will / is going to be a scandal.

Both are correct.
