Any issue with parallelism or symmetry in this sentence?

See here: "These ideas aren’t non sequiturs but I think they’re incorrect."

There are some sentences that I've posted that had inversions; you'd need to flip two words around to make one pair of words mirror another pair of words...in order to make things parallel and symmetrical.

Hi, Andrew—There is no issue of parallelism or symmetry here. You have two independent clauses: "These ideas aren't non sequiturs" and "I think they're incorrect." The independent clauses are coordinated by "but." The only issue is that someone might object to your not using a comma after "sequiturs."
