Hello,

Do you wanna go with me?
Do you wanna come with me?

Is there any difference?

Thanks a lot!^^

I love this kind of question, my friend! Smile

The reason I love it is that native speakers don't normally stop and think about why they would choose one verb over the other. It's a doozy!

In my interpretation, if I use go in this specific question, I'm focusing on the destination and want to know if you feel like arriving there together with me.

If I use come in this specific question, I'm focusing on your accompanying me to arrive at that destination.

I hope I'm making myself clear. Hmm ...

By the way, please remember that a spelling such as wanna for "want to" is NEVER acceptable in good writing, formal or informal. It's what we used to call "comic book spelling."
Interesting, Richard! I've always had the same feeling about "go" and "come" in such sentences, but I had never tried to express my feeling, or I had never seen anyone expressing that feeling. That's why I really enjoyed your post.Smile

I agree with Richard and this is what I intended to say when I posted the above.
