Hi, Is it possible to replace "ease" by "easiness in the following sentence :

"I was surprised at the ease with which he got into the heavily- guarded house."

Hi, Ahmed.A.A—No, it would not be good to replace "ease" with "easiness" in that sentence. But you could replace "at the ease with which" with "how easily":

  • I was surprised at how easily he got into the heavily guarded house.
