a, The library will be closed for five days in June and July.
b. The library will be closed on five days in June and July.

c. The library will be closed five days in June and July.

Which of the above sentences could be used in the following situations?

1. The library will be closed for a period of five days. That period extends from the last days of June to the first days of July.

2. The library will be closed on five different days, some of them in June and some in July, but we don't have a period of five consecutive days.

3. The library will be closed on five days in June and on five days in July.

My feeling is that 'for' implies the we have five consecutive days, so I'd say (a) corresponds to (1) or to (3), and if it corresponds to (3) then the days are consecutive. (b) and (c) seem completely ambiguous to me, bu the chances of (b) being used for consecutive days is small.

Many thanks
