😊祝大家新年快乐! zhu da jia xin nian kuai le!😊
You said it, Ruifeng!
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you, too, and to all members of the Grammar Exchange. As always, I am looking forward to a year filled with fun and intellectually stimulating grammatical discussion on this blessed forum of ours.
This is G.E.'s first New Year's thread on its "new" platform, to which I have been pleased to see us adapt. There have been a few bumps, naturally, but that is to be expected. Overall, I'd say we have settled in nicely.
One thing I see as moderator is how many new members join the forum. I receive numerous new-member notifications on a daily basis. To the many new members who haven't yet asked questions, please don't be shy!
I also hope to see fresh posts from members whom we haven't seen in a while. Already this wish has begun to come true, as yesterday saw the return of Ahmad. There are many others whom I hope to see as well. You know who you are!
I'd like to extend a big thank-you to my two wonderful colleagues, Gustavo and DocV, for all their hard work and high-caliber contributions, which go a long way toward making the Grammar Exchange the educational environment it is.
Lastly, my sincere thanks to all members who ask thoughtful questions here.
Happy 2019, G.E.!
