Is it correct to use the word forgetting in the sentence after the word never? E.g: Never forgetting to remember......... Thanks for the instant response

Hello, Mr. L, and welcome to the Grammar Exchange.

You will generally not receive an "instant response" at this forum, so please do not thank us in advance for something that is by no means guaranteed. Also, if you want to ask about a sentence, please write the full sentence.

"Never forgetting to remember" is not a sentence. It is grammatically possible to use "never forgetting to remember"; however, it has a strange meaning. My question is why you would want to say that instead of "always remember."

I forgot the whole sentence. But, i think it goes like "Never forgetting to remember the roots of .......(periods mean a word but cant remember what word it is.)

I think the person who wrote that was referring to themselves. Colloquially, you could do without the subject and say: Will never forget the roots of ... or Will always remember the roots of ...
