I think ''like'' is correct, but what about ''as''?

Hi, Ahmed.A.A.—Only "like" is correct. The sentence does not make a comparison. "Like" means "such as" in the sentence; it gives an example. For "as" to be used, a comparison is needed. That will involve using another word:

  • I have never seen so skillful a football player as Messi.
