Which are correct:

1) If you want to succeed, you can only have a positive attitude.

2) If you want to succeed, you have to work hard and you can only have a positive attitude.

3) If you want to succeed, you have to work hard and you can only be optimistic.
4) If you want to succeed, you have to work hard and you can only hope.

I don't like '3'. It seems contradictory to me. If you are working hard then you are doing, and can do, something other than hope.
The others seem OK to me. The repetitions are not really natural, but I need them to make sure I understand the logic behind the grammar.
