Hi, I have read the following sentence in a school book:

"You can travel from Cairo to London in a plane." I think that we should use "on a plane" in stead

Hi, Ahmed.A.A—Yes, "on" is the idiomatic preposition to use there. When we travel somewhere by plane, we say that we go there on a plane. Of course, to be on a plane does not mean to be on top of it. When you're on it, you're in it.
