Dear Rachel,

Would you please let me know your opinion about
the following sentences? Are they both correct?
If so, what is the difference between them?

1- These sort of cars are enormously expensive to run

2- These sorts of cars are enormously expensive to run

I'm waiting for your kind reply.

Many thanks and best regards.

Hi, Rachel,

I've read this very interesting postings regarding to this confusing(to me)use of "kinds of + count noun and non count nouns". It seems to me that this another question, "these sort/sorts of " which has been posted by Sayed is not much different on " kinds/kind of ". Right?

Thank you very much, Rachel.Smile
