Can I write this sentence "Trump exits press conference after being challenged by female reporters" like these ways:

1. Trump exits press conference after female reporters challenging him.

2. Trump exits press conference after he is challenged by female reporters.

Hi, Toaha—Sentence (1) is incorrect. Reduced adverbial -ing clauses take subjects that are understood rather than expressed. In the original sentence, "Trump" is the understood subject of the reduced passive clause "after being challenged by female reporters." Sentence (2) is correct; it expresses the non-reduced correlate of "after being challenged by female reporters."
