Hi, Hussein: The best choice -- the answer I would choose -- is (b) ("to have"). The sentence "The two performers were only pretending to have a good relationship" may be compared to the sentence "The two performers were only pretending that they had a good relationship." You could also say:

  • The two performers were only pretending to be on good terms.
  • The two performers were only pretending to be close.
  • The two performers were only pretending to be friends.

The only ungrammatical choice is (a): *"They were only pretending having a good relationship." Choice (c) is not incorrect. The sentence "They were only pretending to have had a good relationship" is like a past-tense version of "They are pretending that they have had a good relationship" (present perfect).
