No, I don't think so. 'Very', as an intensifier, can be used before adjectives and adverbs. 'Very much' can be used as an adverb (mid-position or end-position).

- I very much like tennis.

You can also use 'very' as an adjective. Here's an example:

- Playing tennis is the very thing I want right now.
