I don't know if Springsteen was thinking in terms of the line's being subjected to a strict semantic analysis, but my sense is that it probably means (c):

c) I could walk like Brando in that, like him, I could walk right into the sun.

That reading would be more natural if the sentence had a comma: "I could walk like Brando, right into the sun." I wonder if it's sung as if a comma were present.
