What is the difference (if any)? Please share if it breaks any grammatical rules!

'I can go back to the hospital after having eaten my lunch'.

'I can go back to the hospital after eating my lunch'.

I don't have the greatest insight into sentence structure, but as I underestand in English, these sentences don't break any rules. And I'm pretty sure they mean the same thing!
