Hello. Which tense is correct in the following sentence? Why?

- If I am checking the report, I (don't - won't) answer any calls.

Thank you.

With no further context, I see that 'don't' is the better choice here. That means there is a certain report to check every day and it is my habit not answer any calls while I am checking it.

- If I am checking the report, I don't answer any calls. (General habit)

However, if the speaker is thinking of a certain situation, 'won't' will be the better answer.

- If I am checking the report (tomorrow morning), I won't answer any calls. (specific situation).
